First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic offered his condolences to U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo following the loss of young lives in the shooting incident in Santa Fe, Texas, where ten young people were killed.
“I was deeply saddened by the news that young people were killed in a high school shooting in Santa Fe.
I take this opportunity to express to you, Mr. Secretary of State, and the people of the United States of America – on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf – the profoundest condolences and most heartfelt sympathies with the families who have lost their loved ones, wishing the injured a speedy and successful recovery.
Unfortunately, the loss of young lives reminds us, this time again, that it is incumbent on us, both on the state and individual level, to devote more attention and care to youth, for they will be our successors, entrusted with the responsibility for our societies and states. We must work together to protect young people and assure a safer future for them”, says the condolence letter from Serbian Foreign Minister Dacic.
