Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador Hani bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Mominah, Special Envoy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the inauguration ceremony on the occasion of assumption of duties by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.
Minister Dacic thanked Ambassador Mominah for attending the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
He assessed that the relations between the two countries are good and confirmed the readiness for their further improvement through more intensive cooperation and a more dynamic political dialogue.
Ambassador Mominah expressed his satisfaction at the opportunity to represent his country on the occasion of the inauguration of the President of Serbia. He conveyed the greetings from Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir to Minister Dacic and informed of his readiness to visit the Republic of Serbia in the coming period.
He introduced Minister Dacic with the views of Saudi Arabia regarding the crisis in the relations between certain Gulf countries.
Minister Dacic stressed that the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were paying great attention to developments in the wider Gulf region and encouraged the resolution of the current crisis through dialogue.
