First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic announced at today’s press conference devoted to the first anniversary of the Government of Serbia under the premiership of Ana Brnabic, that Papua New Guinea revoked the recognition of Kosovo.
Minister Dacic emphasized that Papua New Guinea was the sixth country to do so.
In an official note received in this connection, it is stated that despite 2012 decision, the country will adopt a neutral position on the issue pending the completion of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, under the auspices of the European Union.
The Serbian Foreign Minister said that this was a huge success for our state, pointing out that Serbia will continue along this path in the face of ongoing pressures.
