First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Lubomir Zaoralek.
In a cordial conversation, both sides agreed that the bilateral relations between their countries were traditionally good and friendly. An intensive and continuous political dialogue was pursued at all levels, and there was a common interest in further deepening and strengthening all aspects of bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic sphere.
Mutual satisfaction was expressed at the upcoming 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, an important jubilee which the two countries will celebrate together, next year.
Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the active support of the Czech Republic to the European integration of the Republic of Serbia, expressing his expectation that it would be continued in the future.
Minister Zaoralek positively assessed the continued comprehensive reforms implemented by the Government of Serbia, and reiterated the readiness of the Czech Republic to continue to support the European integration of the Republic of Serbia in its further negotiation process with the European Union.
During the discussion, views were exchanged on the continuation of the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue in Brussels, and the current regional issues. The migrant crisis and other international issues were also discussed.
