NOTARIZATION OF SIGNATURES FOR THE POWER OF ATTORNEY OR STATEMENT

Notarization of signatures on private documents which are in Serbian language (authorization, power of attorney or statement) for use in the Republic of Serbia can be done at the Embassy on the basis of valid identification document of the Republic of Serbia (passport or personal ID card). The document must be signed at the Embassy.

The consular fee for notarization of a signature is 65 CAD.  The second copy is 22 CAD and the third as we as any other copy is 22 CAD each. Consular fee is payable in cash or Certified Cheque or Money Order..

If the individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement is not able to personally come to the Embassy, private documents can be signed before the Notary Public and then the same must be certified Global Affaires Canada – DFATD JLAC, and then legalized at the Embassy, this is not valid for certifying statments or power of Attorney related to real estates in Serbia nor to Inheritor statements.

CERTIFYING PHOTOCOPY OF A DOCUMENT

The Consulate General can certify a photocopy of the document. In this case it is necessary to submit the original document and a photocopy of the same. The consular fee for the certification of a photocopy is 48  CAD .  Supplemantary copies are 19 CAD each.

CERTIFYING STATEMENT OF INHERITOR OR POWER OF ATTORNEY RELATED TO REAL ESTATE IN SERBIA

The power of attorney regarding real estate in Serbia or statement of inheritor can be notarized at the Consulate General within the legal format that includes a clause on certification of document (solemnization clause). Personal presence of the individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement is mandatory in order to be identified on the basis of valid identification document of the Republic of Serbia (passport or personal ID card). If the individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement does not hold a valid identity document of the Republic of Serbia, the identity can be determined by inspecting the Canadian identification document (passport or PR card). The individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement must submit the appropriate text of authorization, power of attorney or statement that was made by a qualified person in Serbia (attorney). The authorization, power of attorney or statement must be signed at the Consulate General. Consular fee is payable in cash, Certified Cheque or Money Order  in the amount of 65 CAD .

The process of notarization of power of attorney or statement of inheritor with a clause on certification of the document may not be ready the same day. For this kind of service the Embassy recommends making an appointment via e-mail or phone.

Given that the personal presence is necessary, authorization, power of attorney regarding real estate in Serbia or statement of inheritor may be signed at any one of the diplomatic and consular missions in the Canada:  Embassy in Ottawa or Consulate General in Toronto.

POWER OF ATTORNEY IN THE FORM OF NOTARY’S RECORD

If the individual giving power of attorney does not hold a valid identity document of the Republic of Serbia, the identity can be determined by inspecting the Canadian  identification document (passport or PR card).

The individual giving power of attorney must submit the draft of power of attorney that was made by a qualified person in Serbia (attorney). The power of attorney must be signed at the Embassy. Consular fee is payable in cash in the amount of 135 CAD.

BEOGRAD 17. mart 2016.  – Premijer Aleksandar Vučić ocenio je danas da svaka ugledna zemlja u svetu ima jaku dijasporu, a u razgovoru s predstavnicima srpske dijaspore u Evropskom parlamentu i više srpskih organizacija i istaknutih pojedinaca, rekao je da ne smatra da je važna forma, uprava ili ministarstvo, već suština, a to je da zemlja razmišlja o dijaspori i da dijaspora misli na maticu.

Naglasivši da se radi o obostranom procesu, on je zamolio predstavnike dijaspore da kažu šta država može da učini da bude još bolji odnos, konstatujući da obe strane nikada neće biti potpuno zadovoljne odnosom.

Premijer je, na sasatanku u Klubu poslanika u Beogradu, istakao da Srbija neće nikoga da iskorišćava već da želi da sluša pametne, uspešne ljude, koji su uspeli u životu.

“Ako neko kaže da ima tri hotela u Lucernu ja ću da zamolim da napravi jedan u Srbiji. Ali to nije obaveza”, rekao je i upitao predstavnike dijaspore kako država može da pomogne da se ne zatre srpsko ime širom sveta od Južne Afrike do Kanade, od Toronta do Vladivostoka, da možemo gde go da se nalazimo da sačuvamo našu kulturu, pismo i jezik.

Izrazio je žaljenje što, tamo gde postoji druga i treća generacija, mnogi ne znaju više srpski jezik, a sagovornicima je preneo ocenu da Srbija danas ima šansu da u narednih pet godina zasigurno neće biti recesije u Srbiji, da će imati ubrzan i dinamičan rast.

Počasni konzul Srbije u Vankuveru i vlasnik kompanije kojoj je glavna delatnost proizvodnja, snabdevanje opreme za gradnju visokospratnica Petar Vladiković ocenio je, posle sastanka, da je vlada premijera Vučića stvorila povoljnu klimu za investiranje u Srbiju.

„Klima je jako dobra, premijer vodi jako dobru politiku koja privlači investicije. Mi u diajspori pratimo to, a današnji skup je važan kako za mene lično, tako i diajsporu, kojoj će preneti izraze podrške šefa srpske vlade“, kazao je on.

Prema njegovim rečima, premijer je obećao da će učiniti sve kako bi strane investitore, naročito Srbe iz rasejanja privukao, a ima ih dosta u Kanadi koji imaju jake kompanije.

„Kao pocasni konzul preneću poruku premijera i povoljnu klimu koja je trenutno u Srbiji za strane ivesticije. Smatram da to nismo imali jako dugo. Do sada smo se dvoumili šta da radimo, a sa stabilnom vladom Vučića smatramo da je došlo vreme da možemo da ulažemo u svojoj matici. To je poruka Srbima u Kanadi koju ću preneti“, naglasio je Vladiković.

On je preneo novinarima da je kupio odavno jedan industrijski kompleks u Šimanovcima, ali da je imao problema sa dozvolama i komšijom koji je ometao početak gradnje, te da se sada otvorio put za izgradnju fabrike.

Vladiković je osvrnuo i na projekat Beograd na vodi, za koji kaže da je Vankuver imao sličan slučaj, i da je projekat trajao pune dve decenije, a da je sada jedno od najlepših mesta u tom gradu.

„Beograd na vodi je interesantan projekat, bez obzira što postoje neke kritike. Smatram da je to projekat koji treba da se podrži i od kojeg se ne sme odustati, jer će Beogradu doneti mnogo. Ta lokacija na kojoj se gradi je jedinstvena u svetu. Imati takvu poziciju na reci u gradu, i napraviti takav projekat je stvarno jedan biser“, zaključio je on.
