First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today had talks in Lisbon with the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic José Manuel Pureza.
The cordial talks focused on the current issues regarding bilateral cooperation and possibilities for their promotion.
The collocutors emphasized that Serbia and Portugal were friendly countries and underlined in particular that 2017 was an important year since it marked 135th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Minister Dacic and Vice-President of the Portuguese Assembly expressed their satisfaction over the state of bilateral relations and expressed mutual interest to further promote them through exchange of visits at all levels. Furthermore, they agreed that it was necessary to additionally intensify and promote parliamentary cooperation.
