Minister Dacic held talks with Vice-President of the Portuguese Assembly

Ivica Dacic with José Manuel PurezaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today had talks in Lisbon with the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic José Manuel Pureza.

The cordial talks focused on the current issues regarding bilateral cooperation and possibilities for their promotion.

The collocutors emphasized that Serbia and Portugal were friendly countries and underlined in particular that 2017 was an important year since it marked 135th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Minister Dacic and Vice-President of the Portuguese Assembly expressed their satisfaction over the state of bilateral relations and expressed mutual interest to further promote them through exchange of visits at all levels. Furthermore, they agreed that it was necessary to additionally intensify and promote parliamentary cooperation.

Minister Dacic and Vice-President of the Assembly agreed that it was necessary to deepen and strengthen cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, business and culture.


Minister Dacic, Ambassador Chauhan discuss the Serbian Foreign Minister’s upcoming visit to India

Dacic with ChauhanFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador of India to the Republic of Serbia Narinder Chauhan.

The talks focused on the upcoming visit by Minister Dacic to India, to take place on 2-3 May 2018, at the invitation of India’s Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj. The visit to India bears particular importance as it is realized in the year our two countries are marking the 70th anniversary since they established formal diplomatic relations.

In today’s meeting, it was estimated that the Serbia-India relations were characterized by traditional friendship and understanding, dating back to the Non-Aligned Movement.

Both sides noted that conditions were in place to intensify the political dialogue and promote the two countries’ bilateral cooperation in all areas, in particular deepening the economic cooperation in the fields of automotive, tractor, agriculture and food, IT industries, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation, film, tourism and sports.


Minister Dacic welcomes the Belgian Prime Minister

Ivica Dacic and Mr. Charles MichelFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic welcomed today at Nikola Tesla Airport Mr. Charles Michel, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium, who is on a two-day official visit to Serbia.

During his stay in Belgrade, the Belgian Prime Minister will have meetings with President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic to discuss bilateral relations as well as political and economic cooperation between Serbia and Belgium.


Билатералне политичке консултације између министарстава спољних послова Србије и Азербејџана одржане у Бакуу

Baku konsultacijeБилатералне политичке консултације између Министарства спољних послова Републике Србије и Министарства спољних послова Републике Азербејџан одржане су 17. и 18. априла у Бакуу.

Нашу делегацију предводио је политички директор Министарства, амбасадор Зоран Вујић, а у саставу делегације били су амбасадор Србије у Азербејџану Небојша Родић, први саветник Милица Томић и други секретар Даница Веиновић.

Саговорници су били овлашћени представници Министарства одбрамбене индустрије, Министарства одбране, Министарства енергетике и Министарства спољних послова Републике Азербејџан.

Разматрана су актуелна билатерална питања у односима две земље. Констатовано је да су односи у духу Декларације о пријатељским односима и стратешком партнерству између две државе.

Недвосмислено је констатовано да постоји евидентан простор за даљи напредак у сфери економије, трговине, инвестиција, што захтева закључење Акционог плана за стратешко партнерство. Посебно је наглашено да овај документ треба усагласити и припремити како би био потписан током посете председника Републике Србије Александра Вучића Републици Азербејџан, која се очекује у наредном периоду.
